بادرت إدارة الكلية لرفع مستوى التعليم فيها من خلال إيجاد تخصص جديد في بكالوريوس اللغة العبرية وآدابها مع دبلوم تأهيل اللغة العبرية.
لأن تطورات الظروف التعليمية والمعرفية لاحتياجات السوق والعمل تفرض هذا التخصص في مراحل صعبة مر بها شعبنا ولم يمر بها منذ أكثر من 70 عامًا ، بسبب احتياجات البحث العلمي والتعليم و هذا الاهتمام باللغة العبرية الذي تفرضه المرحلة الحالية المباشرة على المجتمع والأسرة ، وأن العديد من مساحات العمل في أيدينا ومجالها الأوسع ليس في أيدينا. وهي تفرض التطوير المهني والأكاديمي في المجال التنموي والتعليمي للتركيز على تلك اللغة كلغة ثانية وجعل التعليم من خلالها إلزامياً في العديد من المؤسسات التعليمية في القدس في ظروف يستمر فيها الصراع السيادي على المدينة المقدسة ومحيطها.
